SVP Program Growth Model
In this chart, each row represents a school year. Each column, highlighted in orange or blue, represents a school that will be partnering with SVP—those in orange will be trained by SVP’s program director, and those in blue will be trained by a journalism adviser who has already completed the 2 year program. Each school partners with SVP for 2 consecutive years. Once the 2-year partnership ends, the column turns white, illustrating that SVP has exited the school.
Growth Plan
By the end of the 2014-2015 academic year, 19 journalism advisers will be trained for a minimum of 1 year by SVP’s full-time program director, and 9 journalism advisers will be trained by part-time experienced journalism advisers who have previously been trained through SVP’s program, for a total of 28 schools.
