SVP is actively pursuing partnerships with the leading institutions in the field of scholastic journalism.  SVP has secured the participation of Jack Dvorak, a professor at Indiana University, and a leading researcher in the field of student journalism, and his High School Journalism Institute.  SVP is also in active dialogue with other organizations such as the Journalism Education Association, the National Scholastic Press Association, USC’s Annenberg School of Journalism, The Los Angeles Times, and the Knight-Ridder Foundation about ways in which their goals can be met by SVP’s mission of offering a voice to students of disenfranchised populations.
